Environment

The story of Tanzanice Farm Lodge began in 2008 when Dr. Anna Elisabeth Olafsdottir and Vidar Vidarsson from Iceland purchased a piece of land. There was very little vegetation and trees and some areas had serious erosion problems, but now the land is green and beautiful. Erosion was stopped by planting thousands of trees and other plants.
The 180 m deep borehole provides the farm with fresh and clean water sufficient for the farm and lodge.
In respect with nature, the solar water heaters provide hot water for the showers.
